Macon-Bibb County and Contour Airlines Announce Nonstop Service to Washington D.C. Area

Introductory Fares From $49 Each Way

Contour Airlines and Macon-Bibb County announced that flights between the Middle Georgia Regional Airport and Baltimore-Washington International Airport will begin on August 18th. Tickets are now on sale at www.contourairlines.com or by phone at 1-888-33-CONTOUR.

Contour Airlines will provide jet service on an ERJ-135 aircraft featuring expanded legroom with 36 inches of seat pitch, comparable to first class on other domestic carriers, along with full inflight refreshment and snack services. Normal flight time is approximately 90 minutes.. Until July 26th, all seats on all flights from August 18 through December 15 are on sale for an introductory fare of just $49 each way. Standard fares on the route will range will range from $69 to $199 each way.

Each week, there will be twelve round trip flights (see below schedule) timed to best serve the Middle Georgia Region. Flights to D.C. will land at Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), which offers direct rail service into Union Station in D.C., downtown Baltimore and numerous other destinations throughout the region. BWI also offers service to more domestic destinations than any other airport in the Washington area, making it easy for passengers to connect to almost anywhere in the country
